$250.00 Bounty on Believers in Asia

According to the London Times, extremist Hindu groups are offering $250.00, alcohol, food and fuel, to kill believers in Yeshua and destroy their homes in the eastern state of Orissa, India. To date, 67 believers have been killed in Orissa and several thousand homes have been razed. Hundreds of places of worship have been destroyed.

While violence has subsided over the past few days, at least 11,000 refugees who believe in Yeshua remain in camps in Kandhamal. “They are too scared to go home. They know that if they return to their villages they will be forced to convert to Hinduism."

Approximately 20% of the Bibles shipped by Bibledonate.org are shipped to India. Their plea for Bibles is a passionate reflection of their hunger for the Word of G-d. Please remember them in your prayers.

Please pray for our dear brothers and sisters in Yeshua.

You, here in the United States, who have the freedom to assemble without fear of persecution, yet you choose to not to; why?

Is it too much of an inconvenience? Is it that you are tired when you come home from work? Is it because someone may have offended you? Or you simply don't have the time?

What you would do if the freedom to assemble in the Name of G-d was taken away from you? Would you fight for it? Would you still assemble? Would you miss it? Or would you simply stand by and do nothing?

These brothers and sisters in India and in other persecuted nations around the world assemble without fear; they assemble in the Name of the L-rd; they assemble because they love the L-rd. How far will you go? How much does the freedom to assemble mean to you?

Are you blessed because you are not in Asia? Are you blessed that you are not in India? Or, are they blessed because they are in Asia and you are here? We have the freedom to assemble and the freedom to pray without fear of persecution (for now). But what will happen when it (persecution) does come?

Pray, not only because you should, but because you are free to do so; in the Name of Yeshua..., pray.

"For we do not want you to be unaware, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life" - 2 Corinthians 1:8
