Obama refuses public photo ops with Netanyahu Another sign of major rift between leaders

JERUSALEM – The White House has not released any official photos of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meeting this week with President Obama – just one of several signs indicating a rift between the two leaders.

Netanyahu arrived in the U.S. last weekend to address a convention of Jewish leaders. The prime minister's office had for weeks attempted to schedule a meeting with Obama, but no meeting was officially confirmed until Netanyahu was already on a plane on his way to Washington, sources in Netanyahu's office said.

The only photos available to the media so far have been pictures of Netanyahu entering and exiting the White House. Any official photos taken of Obama and Netanyahu have not been released.

Neither Netanyahu nor Obama's team had scheduled any press conferences after the meeting, contrary to usual custom. Sources close to Netanyahu told WND the Israeli team canceled media briefings at the request of the U.S. administration.

Also, the White House only released a brief statement after the meeting, affirming, "The President and Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed a number of issues in the U.S.-Israel bilateral relationship."

The statement continued: "The President reaffirmed our strong commitment to Israel's security, and discussed security cooperation on a range of issues. The President and Prime Minister also discussed Iran and how to move forward on Middle East peace."

In another possible sign of displeasure noted by the Israelis, the country's Haaretz newspaper reported Netanyahu was transported to the White House in a simple van and not an official U.S. government vehicle that usually takes world leaders to meetings with the president.

Both Netanyahu and Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, denied there was any tension between the U.S. and Israeli governments.

"The atmosphere during the meeting with President Obama was very open and very warm," Netanyahu later told Israeli reporters. "The importance of the visit will be ascertained in the future."

Netanyahu called reports of a crisis with Obama "nonsense."

Emanuel, meanwhile, told a Jewish audience Obama's meeting with Netanyahu was "good" and that the two discussed ways to progress on the peace front.

"The path toward peace is not one Israel should be asked to walk alone; that is why the U.S. will remain actively engaged and Israel's one true friend," said Emanuel.

Still, the White House refusal to even schedule a meeting with Netanyahu until the last minute was seen by some as an insult to the prime minister.

Writing in the Weekly Standard, Elliot Abrams, who served as President Bush's deputy national security adviser, commented just before Netanyahu's White House meeting was confirmed.

"Think of it: Our closest ally in the region, critical issues at stake (from Iran's nuclear program and the recent Israeli seizure of an Iranian arms shipment meant for Hezbollah to Abbas' announcement), yet the Israelis get no answer," Abrams writes.

"Obama and his 'experts' may think they are reminding Netanyahu who is boss, but they are in fact reminding all of us why Israelis no longer trust Obama – and making closer cooperation between the two governments that much harder."

Obama had demanded a complete halt to Jewish construction in the strategic West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem, which Netanyahu publicly refused.

Earlier this month, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in Jerusalem that a settlement freeze should not be a precondition for relaunching stalled talks with the Palestinians. However, WND reported the Palestinian Authority rejected a proposal by Clinton for Israel to largely scale back Jewish construction in exchange for the resumption of talks.

Squalene: The Swine Flu Vaccine's Dirty Little Secret Exposed

According to Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, your children should be the first target for mass swine flu vaccinations when school starts this fall.[i]

This is a ridiculous assumption for many reasons, not to mention extremely high risk.

In Australia, where the winter season has begun, Federal Health Minister Nicola Roxon is reassuring parents the swine flu is no more dangerous than regular seasonal flu. "Most people, including children, will experience very mild symptoms and recover without any medical intervention," she said.[ii]

Sydney-based immunization specialist Robert Booy predicts swine flu might be fatal to about twice as many children in the coming year as regular influenza. Booy estimates 10-12 children could die from the H1N1 virus, compared with the five or six regular flu deaths seen among children in an average year in Australia.[iii]

"Cure the Disease, Kill the Patient"

Less than 100 children in the U.S. die each year from seasonal flu viruses.[iv] If we use Australia's math, a very rough estimate would be another 100 children could potentially die of swine flu in the United States in the coming year.

If children are the first target group in the U.S. per Sebelius, that means we're about to inject around 75 million children with a fast tracked vaccine containing novel adjuvants, including dangerous squalene, to prevent perhaps 100 deaths.

I'm not overlooking the tragedy of the loss of even one child to an illness like the H1N1 flu virus. But there can be no argument that unnecessary mass injection of millions of children with a vaccine containing an adjuvant known to cause a host of debilitating autoimmune diseases is a reckless, dangerous plan.

Why are Vaccinations Dangerous?

The presumed intent of a vaccination is to help you build immunity to potentially harmful organisms that cause illness and disease. However, your body's immune system is already designed to do this in response to organisms which invade your body naturally.

Most disease-causing organisms enter your body through the mucous membranes of your nose, mouth, pulmonary system or your digestive tract - not through an injection.

These mucous membranes have their own immune system, called the IgA immune system. It is a different system from the one activated when a vaccine is injected into your body.

Your IgA immune system is your body's first line of defense. Its job is to fight off invading organisms at their entry points, reducing or even eliminating the need for activation of your body's immune system.

When a virus is injected into your body in a vaccine, and especially when combined with an immune adjuvant like squalene, your IgA immune system is bypassed and your body's immune system kicks into high gear in response to the vaccination.

Injecting organisms into your body to provoke immunity is contrary to nature, and vaccination carries enormous potential to do serious damage to your health.

And as if Vaccines Weren't Dangerous Enough on Their Own

imagine them turbocharged.

The main ingredient in a vaccine is either killed viruses or live ones that have been attenuated (weakened and made less harmful).

Flu vaccines can also contain a number of chemical toxins, including ethylene glycol (antifreeze), formaldehyde, phenol (carbolic acid) and even antibiotics like Neomycin and streptomycin.

In addition to the viruses and other additives, many vaccines also contain immune adjuvants like aluminum and squalene.

The purpose of an immune adjuvant added to a vaccine is to enhance (turbo charge) your immune response to the vaccination. Adjuvants cause your immune system to overreact to the introduction of the organism you're being vaccinated against.

Adjuvants are supposed to get the job done faster (but certainly not more safely), which reduces the amount of vaccine required per dose, and the number of doses given per individual.

Less vaccine required per person means more individual doses available for mass vaccination campaigns. Coincidentally, this is exactly the goal of government and the pharmaceutical companies who stand to make millions from their vaccines.

Will There Be Immune Adjuvants in Swine Flu Vaccines?

The U.S. government has contracts with several drug companies to develop and produce swine flu vaccines. At least two of those companies, Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline, are using an adjuvant in their H1N1 vaccines.

The adjuvant? Squalene.

According to Meryl Nass, M.D., an authority on the anthrax vaccine,

"A novel feature of the two H1N1 vaccines being developed by companies Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline is the addition of squalene-containing adjuvants to boost immunogenicity and dramatically reduce the amount of viral antigen needed. This translates to much faster production of desired vaccine quantities."[v]

Novartis's proprietary squalene adjuvant for their H1N1 vaccine is MF59. Glaxo's is ASO3. MF59 has yet to be approved by the FDA for use in any U.S. vaccine, despite its history of use in other countries.

Per Dr. Nass, there are only three vaccines in existence using an approved squalene adjuvant. None of the three are approved for use in the U.S.

While watching these political hot August nights, I decided to research the reasons so many are opposed to Obamacare to separate the facts from the fantasy. What I discovered is that there are indeed dirty little secrets buried deep within the 1,000-plus page health care bill.

Dirty secret No. 1 in Obamacare is about the government's coming into homes and usurping parental rights over child care and development.

It's outlined in sections 440 and 1904 of the House bill (Page 838), under the heading "home visitation programs for families with young children and families expecting children." The programs (provided via grants to states) would educate parents on child behavior and parenting skills.

The bill says that the government agents, "well-trained and competent staff," would "provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains ... modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices," and "skills to interact with their child to enhance age-appropriate development."

Are you kidding me?! With whose parental principles and values? Their own? Certain experts'? From what field and theory of childhood development? As if there are one-size-fits-all parenting techniques! Do we really believe they would contextualize and personalize every form of parenting in their education, or would they merely universally indoctrinate with their own?

Are we to assume the state's mediators would understand every parent's social or religious core values on parenting? Or would they teach some secular-progressive and religiously neutered version of parental values and wisdom? And if they were to consult and coach those who expect babies, would they ever decide circumstances to be not beneficial for the children and encourage abortions?

One government rebuttal is that this program would be "voluntary." Is that right? Does that imply that this agency would just sit back passively until some parent needing parenting skills said, "I don't think I'll call my parents, priest or friends or read a plethora of books, but I'll go down to the local government offices"? To the contrary, the bill points to specific targeted groups and problems, on Page 840: The state "shall identify and prioritize serving communities that are in high need of such services, especially communities with a high proportion of low-income families."

Are we further to conclude by those words that low-income families know less about parenting? Are middle- and upper-class parents really better parents? Less neglectful of their children? Less needful of parental help and training? Is this "prioritized" training not a biased, discriminatory and even prejudicial stereotype and generalization that has no place in federal government, law or practice?

Bottom line: Is all this what you want or expect in a universal health care bill being rushed through Congress? Do you want government agents coming into your home and telling you how to parent your children? When did government health care turn into government child care?

Government needs less of a role in running our children's lives and more of a role in supporting parents' decisions for their children. Children belong to their parents, not the government. And the parents ought to have the right -- and government support -- to parent them without the fed's mandates, education or intervention in our homes.

Kids are very important to my wife, Gena, and me. That's why we've spent the past 17 years developing our nonprofit KICKSTART program in public schools in Texas. It builds up their self-esteem and teaches them respect and discipline. Of course, whether or not they participate in the program is their and their parents' choice.

How contrary is Obamacare's home intrusion and indoctrination family services, in which state agents prioritize houses to enter and enforce their universal values and principles upon the hearts and minds of families across America?

Government's real motives and rationale are quite simple, though rarely, if ever, stated. If one wants to control the future ebbs and flows of a country, one must have command over future generations. That is done by seizing parental and educational power, legislating preferred educational methods and materials, and limiting private educational options. It is so simple that any socialist can understand it. As Josef Stalin once stated, "Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed."

Before so-called universal health care turns into universal hell care, write or call your representative today and protest his voting Obamacare into law. Remind him that what is needed in Washington is a truly bipartisan group that is allowed an ample amount of time to work on a compromise health care law that wouldn't raise taxes (for anyone), regulate personal medical choices, ration health care or restrict American citizens.

DEADLY DOCTORS By BETSY MCCAUGHEY

This article was written July 24, 2009 by Besty McCaughy; and it addresses the issues of Obamacare and the negative impact it will have on this nation's elderly, handicapped, and the average citizen.

THE health bills coming out of Congress would put the decisions about your care in the hands of presidential appointees. They'd decide what plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have and what seniors get under Medicare.

Yet at least two of President Obama's top health advisers should never be trusted with that power.

Start with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. He has already been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research.

Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).

Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).

Yes, that's what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.

Many doctors are horrified by this notion; they'll tell you that a doctor's job is to achieve social justice one patient at a time.

Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. '96).

Translation: Don't give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson's or a child with cerebral palsy.

He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" (Lancet, Jan. 31).

The bills being rushed through Congress will be paid for largely by a $500 billion-plus cut in Medicare over 10 years. Knowing how unpopular the cuts will be, the president's budget director, Peter Orszag, urged Congress this week to delegate its own authority over Medicare to a new, presidentially-appointed bureaucracy that wouldn't be accountable to the public.

Since Medicare was founded in 1965, seniors' lives have been transformed by new medical treatments such as angioplasty, bypass surgery and hip and knee replacements. These innovations allow the elderly to lead active lives. But Emanuel criticizes Americans for being too "enamored with technology" and is determined to reduce access to it.

Dr. David Blumenthal, another key Obama adviser, agrees. He recommends slowing medical innovation to control health spending.

Blumenthal has long advocated government health-spending controls, though he concedes they're "associated with longer waits" and "reduced availability of new and expensive treatments and devices" (New England Journal of Medicine, March 8, 2001). But he calls it "debatable" whether the timely care Americans get is worth the cost. (Ask a cancer patient, and you'll get a different answer. Delay lowers your chances of survival.)

Obama appointed Blumenthal as national coordinator of health-information technology, a job that involves making sure doctors obey electronically deivered guidelines about what care the government deems appropriate and cost effective.

In the April 9 New England Journal of Medicine, Blumenthal predicted that many doctors would resist "embedded clinical decision support" -- a euphemism for computers telling doctors what to do.

Americans need to know what the president's health advisers have in mind for them. Emanuel sees even basic amenities as luxuries and says Americans expect too much: "Hospital rooms in the United States offer more privacy . . . physicians' offices are typically more conveniently located and have parking nearby and more attractive waiting rooms" (JAMA, June 18, 2008).

No one has leveled with the public about these dangerous views. Nor have most people heard about the arm-twisting, Chicago-style tactics being used to force support. In a Nov. 16, 2008, Health Care Watch column, Emanuel explained how business should be done: "Every favor to a constituency should be linked to support for the health-care reform agenda. If the automakers want a bailout, then they and their suppliers have to agree to support and lobby for the administration's health-reform effort."

Do we want a "reform" that empowers people like this to decide for us?

British Television Interviews Netanyahu

Even those who aren't particularly sympathetic to Israel 's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, could get a good measure of satisfaction from this interview with British Television during the retaliation against Hamas' shelling of Israel.

The interviewer asked him: "How come so many more Palestinians have been killed in this conflict than Israelis?" (A nasty question if there ever was one!)

Netanyahu: "Are you sure that you want to start asking in that direction?"

Interviewer: (Falling into the trap) Why not?

Netanyahu: "Because in World War II more Germans were killed than British and Americans combined, but there is no doubt in anyones mind that the war was caused by Germany 's aggression. And in response to the German blitz on London , the British wiped out the entire city of Dresden , burning to death more German civilians than the number of people killed in Hiroshima.

Moreover, I could remind you that in 1944, when the RAF tried to bomb the Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen, some of the bombs missed their target and fell on a Danish children's hospital, killing 83 little children. Perhaps you have another question?"

Apparently, Benjamin Netanyahu gave an interview and was asked about Israel 's occupation of Arab lands. His response was, "It's our land". The reporter (CNN or the like) was stunned.

BRIEF FACTS ON THE ISRAELI CONFLICT TODAY...(It takes just 1.5 minutes to read!)

It makes sense and it's not slanted. Jew and non-Jew -- it doesn't matter.

1. Nationhood and Jerusalem - Israel became a nation in 1312 BCE, Two thousand years before the rise of Islam.

2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.

3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BCE, the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.

4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 CE lasted no more than 22 years.

5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem , they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.

6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran.

9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: in 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews . Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.

10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms.

11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be the same.

12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own people's lands. 14. The PLO's Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them.

15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.

16. The UN Record on Israel and the Arabs: of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel .

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

Far-right wing activists launch anti-Obama campaign

Chanting "No, you can't!" and waving signs bearing messages in a similar vein, nearly 200 people held a demonstration outside the US Consulate on the capital's Rehov Agron on Wednesday evening, protesting the growing American pressure to stop construction in West Bank settlements.

Speakers at the event included MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) and Esther Pollard, the wife of convicted spy Jonathan Pollard. All brought a similar message - that the American government does not have the right to dictate where Jews may or may not live within the Land of Israel.

"Mr. Obama, we started demonstrating 16 years ago," said Rabbi Shalom Gold, the founder of Kehillat Zichron Ya'acov in Jerusalem's Har Nof neighborhood, alluding to the early days of the Oslo Accords. "You were in your '30s and you probably didn't know the first thing about Eretz Yisrael... but we're part of God's divine plan, we're here and we're staying here!"

"Be a friend of Israel, but even if you won't be, we have the greatest ally in the world," he said, pointing to the heavens.

Esther Pollard followed, telling the crowd that her message to the US president was that "your problem isn't with Prime Minister Netanyahu, nor is it with the People of Israel. Your problem, Mr. President, is with the almighty God of Israel!"

The protest continued for more than two hours, as the demonstrators ebbed and flowed and consular staff across the street came out to watch the goings-on.

The protest was only a part of a wider campaign launched by activists on Wednesday, in which they will try to counter the American stance by portraying Obama as an anti-Semite whose policies would harm the Jewish state.

Over the coming days, activists plan to hang posters throughout the country of Obama wearing a keffiyeh, flanked by the words, "Anti-Semite," and "Jew-hater," written in red in both English and Hebrew. Another poster published by the campaign shows Obama shaking hands with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad against a background of a mushroom cloud from a nuclear explosion.

The Jewish National Front, which is backing the protests, said in a statement: "We decided to launch a campaign against the president of the United States and to say that Barack Hussein Obama is bad for the Jews."

"From the moment that he entered the White House, we have been feeling anti-Semitism and hatred toward Israel," the statement continued. "We have a number of plans, among which are demonstrations in the US and protests in front of the consulate and homes of the ambassadors."

Later Wednesday evening, Peace Now issued a statement harshly criticizing the campaign, saying the anti-Obama posters and demonstrations would cause considerable damage to the friendship between the US and Israel.

"The radical Right is damaging our strategic alliance with the US, and is embarrassing Israel in front of the world," the organization said. "[Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu] must renounce this campaign of the settlers at once, and act decisively against the hilltop youth and those who are breaking the law in the settlements."

United States Joining United Nations Human Rights Council

A few weeks ago the Obama administration announced that the United States will join the United Nations Human Rights Council. This move is a reversal of the Bush’s administration refusal to join the Council. The Bush administration refused to join the Council because of its repeated condemnations of Israel and its blind eyes to the events going on in the Sudan and its Darfur region. It also included the fact that the Council has refused to consider human rights violations by its own members. The Bush administration even went as far to say that the Council is not “a credible body.” I can only assume that Israel must be very disappointed (if not outraged) concerning the United States’ decision to join this council.

The United States will be seated at the same table with countries like; Saudi Arabia, Cuba and Angola. These countries have consistently failed to recognize human rights violations in countries like Darfur and North Korea. Yet, they have (without fail) continually brought condemnation upon the nation of Israel for defending itself against those who wish to destroy it; specifically Palestine. The Council not only appears to be blind, but deaf as well. It has yet to condemn the call by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad for Israel to be, “wiped off the map.” Anne Bayefsky has reported that the Council, "has adopted more condemnations of Israel than all the other 191 U.N. states combined, while terminating human rights investigations on the likes of Iran, Cuba and Belarus.” These are also reasons why the Bush administration refused to join this non-credible body.

The Obama administration has been intent from day one to reverse every Bush administration policy concerning the United States and its relations with other countries. Yet, it is has neglected its most important ally; Israel. In joining the United Nations Human Rights Council the United States has distanced itself even further (if not completely severed its relationship) from Israel. The Bush administration saw that this council was incapable of successfully defending human rights because of overt hostility towards Israel; so he refused to join. Yet, the Obama administration has seemed to close its eyes and withdraw its hand of solidarity concerning our friendship and alliance with Israel. This move by the Obama administration should be of great concern to all Christians and to all Americans. And this action would hopefully cause us to fall upon our faces and pray.

“And My people who are called by My Name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land” – 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Obama Bows Down to Guardian of Mecca

During the recent G20 Summit in London, President Obama was captured on video and pictured on camera bowing to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. Now, this event may not seem like much to many. Some may even classify this as another “Presidential faux pas.” And there may be those who say, “What’s the big deal? He was doing it out of respect.” However, what might not be a big deal to some, has indeed become a big deal to others; including myself.

Many may not know this, but the king of Saudi derives authority and respect of his subjects not only because he is the king; he is also considered the Guardian of Mecca and Medina; two of Islam’s holiest sites, (the birthplace of Muhammad and Islam). Therefore, he not only derives authority and respect from his subjects, but from all Muslims who are in subjection to Islam. So, bowing to King Abdullah could also be considered as bowing down to Allah himself.

As President of the United States, I’m sure that Obama understands Presidential Protocol very well; he is not an ignorant man. Historically, protocol for the United States has been that America and its leaders are not to submit themselves in any manner or gesture to a foreign monarch or ruler. This would be a sign of subjection. A gesture of that sort compromises the sovereignty of the United States and its freedoms. A gesture of that sort implies that America is in subjection to a foreign power; whether political or religious. And this gesture (in the eyes of many) implies that the American President has subjected himself and America to the Guardian of Mecca, Islam, Allah and his prophet Muhammad.

Some could blame his gesture on the ignorance or misinformation of the Presidential Office of Protocol. Some may even go as far as to say, “He’s human, he made a mistake.” Yet, in all other instances when the President has met with foreign leaders and dignitaries, he followed protocol astutely. Never before had Obama displayed such a gesture. But for some unknown reason, during this visit with the Guardian of Mecca, protocol was breeched.

This gesture might not mean much to many. However, to those who know the significance of bowing to the “Guardian of Mecca” the symbolism speaks volumes. To my knowledge, no sitting President has shown this type of gesture to any foreign power; especially one that still practices slavery and persecutes Christians and Jews.

“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil quiet life in all godliness and dignity” – 1 Timothy 2:1 (NASB).

Does Obama Need to Oppose the Fairness Doctrine?

“As the President stated during the campaign, he does not believe the Fairness Doctrine should be reinstated," White House spokesman Ben LaBolt.

The White House recently issued a statement that President Obama does not believe the Fairness Doctrine should be reinstated. However, my question is; “Does it really matter?” This may be a layman’s understanding concerning this; but I don’t think it matters if President Obama opposes the Fairness Doctrine or not. From what I gather the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) can impose this doctrine (and others) as a regulation with or without Obama’s support or opposition.

According to the FCC, it is directed by five Commissioners appointed by the President. The President can designate one Commissioner to serve as Chairperson. And Obama has chosen Henry Rivera, a Democrat who vocally supports reinstating the Fairness Doctrine. These board members are selected from both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. Only three Commissioners may be members of the same political party. And doctrines or policies can be drafted, reinstated and/or imposed simply by majority vote. This means, that doctrines, like the Fairness Doctrine can be imposed as FCC Regulation without the approval of Congress or the President’s Office. And there have been many Democrats who have strongly voiced their support for reinstating the Fairness Doctrine. In June 2009 the balance will shift to a Democrat majority.

The Museum of Broadcast Communications (MBC) states; “The policy of the United States Federal Communications Commission that became known as the "Fairness Doctrine" is an attempt to ensure that all coverage of controversial issues by a broadcast station be balanced and fair. The FCC took the view, in 1949, that station licensees were "public trustees," and as such had an obligation to afford reasonable opportunity for discussion of contrasting points of view on controversial issues of public importance. The Commission later held that stations were also obligated to actively seek out issues of importance to their community and air programming that addressed those issues. With the deregulation sweep of the Reagan Administration during the 1980s, the Commission dissolved the fairness doctrine.”

The Fairness Doctrine does not provide for “fairness,” but instead censorship. Could the imposing of the Fairness Doctrine be part of an overall ploy to centralize the Government in order to control the people of this Nation?

In an October interview Senator Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico stated; “The airwaves are owned by private companies at this point, there is a license given to private companies to operate broadcast stations and that’s the way it should be. All I’m saying is for many, many years (airwaves) were operated under a Fairness Doctrine in this country. I think the country was well-served. I think the public discussion was at a higher level and more intelligent in those days that it has become since.” Was this country well-served? Not according to the reasons for the dissolution of the Fairness Doctrine:

“By 1985, the FCC issued its Fairness Report, asserting that the doctrine was no longer having its intended effect, might actually have a "chilling effect" and might be in violation of the First Amendment. In a 1987 case, Meredith Corp. v. FCC, the courts declared that the doctrine was not mandated by Congress and the FCC did not have to continue to enforce it. The FCC dissolved the doctrine in August of that year.”

In my humble opinion I don’t think it really matters whether or not Obama opposes the Fairness Doctrine. He doesn’t have to. There are others in his administration that can impose these sorts of policies and regulations for him. And it seems to me that this won’t be the only imposition that will be placed upon the American people. And really…, is imposing “fairness” fair? No it’s censorship and the slow suppression of freedoms that should concern every American.

“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of G-d our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” – 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NASB).

Live the Life

A few days ago my family and I visited a Christian bookstore in a neighboring city. There are no Christian bookstores or libraries where we live. So, when we visit a larger city we usually stop by one or two. While looking at the various sections throughout the store, I noticed one called, “Christian Living.” It was a fairly large section with many books, covering a variety of subjects. However, it wasn’t what was in this section that caught my attention but, what was missing.

There must have been hundreds of books by different “Christian” authors, pastors and evangelists. From the floor to the ceiling every area concerning “Christian Living” was covered; finances, health, prayer, personal care; even “Biblical” dieting and exercise. Yet, out of all these books about “Christian Life,” there was not a single Bible (unless you consider the “Message Bible” a Bible). Sadly, the Bibles were actually located towards the rear of the store, and were somewhat hard to find. The clerk however, was able to point me in the right direction.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not against books written by Christian authors in any way. I read many commentaries, and other books on subjects like; Biblical history, prophecy, cults, and government written by Christian authors. However, I do not consider these books to be final authorities when it comes to matters of life and faith. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the Bible concerning those issues. And, I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve been given books to read that will “change my life.” This isn’t to say that there aren’t any books, which haven’t greatly affected my life as a believer. In fact, there are two; “Foxe’s Book of Martyrs” by John Foxe and “Tortured for Christ” by Richard Wurmbrand. Yet, I don’t consider these books final authorities either. Nor, do I consider them to be equated with Scripture.

Sometime ago, I met two wonderful brothers in the faith from China. In addition to being blessed, speaking with them was truly encouraging and eye-opening. During our conversation I asked one of them, “What is the difference between Christianity here in America and Christianity in China?” Without hesitation he responded, “Here in America, you have too many books. You have books telling you how to live, how to eat, how to pray, and how to get rich. In China we only have the Bible and the Holy Spirit. And sometimes it’s only a page or two. But here, you have many books and many holy spirits.” “What do mean…, many holy spirits?” I asked him. He said, “In China when we have a need, (like healing or even a miracle), we seek G-d. It is hard for us to go out and find a book telling us how to seek G-d; we use the Bible and the Holy Spirit for that. It doesn’t seem that way here in America.” “Simple but effective,” I thought to myself.

During our conversation we covered many subjects, concerning the lives of believers in China and America. I eventually asked him if they ever feared the persecution of the Secret Police; having their Churches raided or being put in jail. He said, “Well, that’s life in China.” I then asked him, “What do you pray for when you pray for believers in America?” “Persecution,” he said. “Persecution?” I asked. “Yes, persecution. That’s the only way the Body of Christ will grow and flourish.” He said. “In China, the Body of Christ grows and grows, but it seems that here in America, it does not. So, we pray for persecution.” “What will happen when those prayers are answered? What will become of many of us here in America? How many will be left standing in the faith?” I thought to myself.

Many in the United States (including me) do not truly understand what it is to be persecuted. Yet, many in persecuted countries like China willingly give up their lives daily for the cause of Messiah. There is only one book for them to read concerning persecution; the Bible. And only One Spirit to rely upon for strength; the Holy Spirit. And all they ask for is prayer. Please pray for the Persecuted Church. Live the life of a believer and pray.

“Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body” – Hebrews 13:3.

Stimulus Package a Patronage System?

Today the blogoshperes are teeming with reports concerning the Stimulus Package and the Obama Administration’s desire to push it through as quickly as possible. Many are reporting that the new Stimulus Package is not an Economy Recovery Plan, but instead a front for a Democratic Party Patronage System. It is a plan to stop the two-party system, which in turn will ultimately affect free elections.

A recent video posted on the internet records a man called “Chicago Bob” who called into the Mike Savage radio show claiming to know the real purpose of the Stimulus Package; “It's not a stimulus package, it's not pork! It's a job patronage system.” “Chicago Bob” states:

"I really feel that what I'm gonna give you here is a smoking gun.

I'm a conservative Democrat and I'm from Chicago... and I, I feel that I was betrayed.

I was in a meeting after Obama got elected and I was told by the Democratic officials in that meeting that we were gonna give billions of dollars that was gonna come down the pike, our way, and what we were to do with it was we were supposed to do with it...

We are gonna build an army of Democratic patronage jobs.... gonna completely freeze up the Republicans forever and ever...

It's a job-capturing system, the same one they have in Chicago... everyone's asking 'why isn't that money being released until 2011 and 2012?'

Because it needs to be released at a time that's close to the election, so that they don't go blow the money and spend it. So they're gonna hold some back and that's where... the real bucks will be spent, right up close to the election.

...It's not a stimulus package, it's not pork! It's a job patronage system... there's gonna be more [people] working for the Democrats in a patronage system than the United States Army...

And the jobs are gonna be camouflaged in a million different ways, whether you're workin' for the city, or workin' for the state, but when the election comes around, you're gonna be obligated to go out and get that vote... ...like ACORN, except the jobs will be larger scale. I just wanted to say that, because I was really depressed when they told me, because I really thought they'd be different.

If I've done nothing else in my life, I've informed what that bill really is... it's a job patronage system."

I’m not sure as of yet, what to make of “Chicago Bob.” But, his claims seem to reveal to me that he is one of many in this nation who fear the days to come. Now, I believe every one should have a little fear. For instance, fear of going into unknown places; or, fear of trying dangerous things. That type of fear keeps one vigilant and alert. However, we (believers) are not to fear man, or the things that man can do; that type of fear is not good for us. Our trust should always be in the L-RD; He is our strength. And He is our shield. The L-RD is our hope and He is our refuge. A preacher once told me; “Son, there is no refuge from G-d, only refuge in G-d…, fear G-d! There is nothing that man (or this world) can do to me to make me fear it, more than I fear G-d.” Amen!

Is Obama in You?

It has been said that no President has affected people like Barack Obama. During his campaign (and now his presidency) he has been hailed as a new hope for this nation; he’s been labeled as a champion of change; a superhero of sorts – the One. Some have even gone as far to call him the “Messiah.” And he has also been referred to as “The President to the World.” However, it now seems that his sphere of influence is no longer restricted to the physical realm. Obama has not only touched the hearts of people throughout this nation, he has also invaded their very souls. And the question of today is, “Is Obama in you?”

Recently, the Detroit Free Press has dared to ask that very question, “Is Obama in you?” And if so, “What part of Obama is in you?” Evidently, calling Obama the “Messiah” wasn’t enough. Now, all people have become Obama and Obama has become all people. And now you have the ability to see Obama in yourself – “You are Obama and Obama is you!” It seems that Obama has reached the status of icon. It is only a matter of time before his image is placed above every mantle and prayers said in his name at the dinner tables of America. And don’t think that it can’t happen. Just ask those who lived through Nazi Germany.

I am under the belief that we are truly reaching the final days before the Return of Messiah. I truly believe that we are in the days that Messiah spoke of and the apostle Paul described. We have gone beyond the “Last Days” and into the “End of Days” (acharit hayamim); the days just before Messiah’s (the Real Messiah) Return.

The Last Days began with the ascension of Messiah Yeshua; and the Hope of His Return had begun; "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Yeshua, who has been taken up from you into Heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into Heaven” – Acts 1:11 (NASB). The Bible is very clear concerning what is to take place during the End of Days leading up to Messiah’s Return. And I believe that they are taking place right before our very eyes.

Along with all of the wars, rumors of wars, famines and pestilence that are currently taking place in this world we mustn’t forget “The Great Falling Away;” also called “The Great Apostasy” that will also come (which in my opinion is already here) before Messiah Returns. Nor, can we neglect the great one world religious system that the world will embrace under the man of lawlessness, which I believe is secular humanism. I am not quite sold on the idea that “traditional” cults are the greatest threat to the body of Messiah. Instead I believe it is secular humanism that will ultimately invade the Body and lead many astray; “For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy” – 2 Timothy 3:2.

Although, secular humanism is the greatest threat to the Body, it is not that much different from the “traditional” cults that plague Christianity today. Nor is the message any different either. The main difference between the cults and secular humanism is that one promotes their message Name of G-d, while the other promotes its message in the name of man. In essence, secular humanism is Satanism.

How can secular humanism be considered Satanism? In short, Satanism is not really the worship of Satan, but instead the worship of self; doing that which Satan himself had done (Ezekiel 28:1-19). And the common message that the traditional cults, such as Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and even the Word of Faith Movement and secular humanism have is; “…you shall be as gods” – Genesis 3:5. This is the “lie” that was told in the Garden of Eden and it is this same lie that many are falling for today; including many in the Body.

Clearly, all one has to do today is look around and see for themselves that we are living in some very interesting times (to say the least).

Is All Hardship from the Devil?

First of all, I want to make it clear that I believe in the power of prayer; I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and I believe that G-d blesses those who are called by His Name. I believe that G-d heals and I believe that G-d provides for His children. And I do believe that there are demonic forces at work in this world. But, I also believe that we can’t attribute every conflict or hardship in the life of a believer to the devil.

Although, there is the reality of spiritual hardships, physical conflicts and personal trials; many believers seem to attribute all of these to the devil. It seems that many have a hard time understanding that the devil isn’t responsible for every trial or tribulation that one experiences here in this world; especially concerning matters of sin. Now, don’t think I’m defending the devil in any way but, we are very good at finding sin all on our own; without his help (James 1:15). Some even assume that if you experience any type of conflict or hardship in life it is proof that you are following G-d. This is why the devil is “attacking” you. “If you’re being attacked, then you must be doing something right?” However, this isn’t always so. Some (especially those in the “Word of Faith” movement) even go as far to say that sickness and poverty are the result of sin in your life (usually identified as secret sin) or lack of faith.

Many of the hardships that we experience as believers are not attacks of Satan but instead a part of living life in this world. The simple fact is that we live in a sinful and dying world. We live in finite bodies, which have been affected by sin and death. People get sick, people suffer hardship and people die. And believers in Messiah are no exception. This is why Salvation is so important. A believer is no better than the sinner, just better off eternally. Even so, we are not to boast about this but instead, extend the message of hope to those who have none (1 Corinthians 5:6; James 4:15-17).

Yes, the devil continually prowls around as a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). And yes, we do encounter spiritual struggles (Eph 6:12). But, these things primarily have to do with temptation and our service unto G-d. Trial and tribulation are a part of living in this world. And according to the Bible, the believer actually learns and matures because of them (Hebrews 10:36). We learn how to be more attentive concerning matters of faith and our reliance upon G-d deepens. We may be tested in spiritual matters but this doesn’t preclude us from the trials that may accompany those tests (Luke 22:31-33).

Sin and death are in the world. We all are affected by both, but not all are saved from both (Romans 6:23); except those who have repented of their sins and put their faith in Messiah Yeshua. And we mustn’t forget; the devil is a created being. He is not omniscient, he is not omnipresent and he is not omnipotent. The devil is a being that has an end who is awaiting his final judgment from the Throne (Revelation 20:10).

In Luke 13 Messiah is asked about some Galileans who were killed at the Temple; and about some who were killed when a tower in Siloam fell on them. The questions posed to Him were to imply that some were worse deserving of death than others because of their sins. Instead of saying that these events were attacks of the devil or judgments from G-d, Yeshua simply said; “I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” – Luke 13:5. Death comes to us all. But eternal life is only promised to those who believe in Messiah.

Through repentance and faith in Messiah you are saved from the wages of sin and the judgment of death. This is the grace of G-d in Messiah. But because you have been saved from judgment doesn’t mean that you won’t experience hardship and conflict in this world. The fact of the matter is, you have and you will. But concerning this truth Messiah said; "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world” – John 16:33.

Encroachment of Freedom Afoot?

Please don’t call me a conspiracy theorist, but…, could there be (as James Madison said) a “silent encroachment” of freedom afoot in this nation?

Since the Obama administration has been in the White House it has proposed a stimulus package, which will be used to ensure nationalized healthcare. It has signed a recent executive order repealing the “Mexico City Policy,” which will force American taxpayers to support groups internationally who promote and perform abortions for the purposes of population control. And it is looking to pass a hate-crimes bill that will extend hate-crime violations to speech, which will make it possible to prosecute people for simply voicing critical opinions about certain lifestyles.

And now this…,

Representative Alcee L. Hastings, D-Fla., has just introduced bill H.R. 645 to the House of Representatives, which calls for the Director of Homeland Security to establish national “emergency” centers on military installations.

This bill (aka the “National Emergency Centers Establishment Act) states:

a) In General – In accordance with the requirements of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall establish not fewer than 6 national emergency centers on military installations.

b) Purpose of National Emergency Centers – The purpose of a national emergency center shall be to use existing infrastructure:

1) to provide temporary housing, medical and humanitarian assistance to individual and families due to an emergency or major disaster;

2) to provide centralized locations for the purposes of training and ensuring the coordination of Federal, State and local first responders.

3) to provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response and recovery efforts of government, private and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations; and

4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.

The term “emergency” defined in this bill is “any occasion or instance for which, in the determination of the President, Federal assistance is needed to supplement State and local efforts and capabilities to save lives and to protect property and public health and safety, or to lessen or avert the threat of a catastrophe in any part of the United States.” This means that the President can declare an emergency (as he defines it) and take over all Federal, State and local governments without the approval of Congress. However, why establish “emergency centers” when these things stated in the above purposes are already being accomplished at military installations and are included in local emergency operation plans? And, who exactly will be placed in these camps? Civilians? Unfortunately, these “emergency centers” sound more like detention camps than anything else.

FEMA is already able to provide emergency housing for people in case of emergency or disaster. Organizations such as the Red Cross can provide first-responder training. And most communities have established areas that are designated for emergency response and training. Also, most (if not all) communities have emergency preparedness joint control centers that provide for recovery efforts, which include not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations. All one has to do is contact their local emergency response coordinator to find out this information (usually the sheriff or local fire chief).

Again, I am not implying that there is some vast conspiracy taking place in our government. Yet, all of this does seem very interesting (to say the least).

James Madison said, “Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations.”

Does all of this mean that we are to live our lives in fear and paranoia? No, this simply means that we continue to have faith in our L-RD Yeshua. Our trust in G-d must remain steadfast; for He is the One with all authority. And we are to continue to reach the world with the gospel; this is our Biblical mandate;

“And Yeshua came up and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on earth. Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I AM with you always, even to the end of the age” – Mt 28:18-20 (NASB).

Obama Bi-Partisan? Not When it Comes to Life

During Obama’s Presidential campaign, he had stated that he would be a bi-partisan President. He pledged that he would “reach across the aisle” to include all political parties in order to bring the “change” that this country needs. However, when it comes to matters of life he has proven to be unequivocally unilateral.

On January 23rd President Obama signed an executive order to repeal “The Mexico City Policy,” which protected Americans from being forced to financially support (with our tax dollars), groups who actively promote and pay for abortions internationally. In anticipation of this executive order 77 members of Congress, (in an “open letter” to Obama) urged the President not to repeal the Mexico City Policy. These members of Congress began the letter with a direct appeal to President Obama to work “as you have pledged, to create a new era of bi-partisan cooperation.” However, with one stroke of the pen President Obama clearly indicated how willing he is to “create a new era of bi-partisan cooperation.” He isn’t, especially when comes to the right-to-life of the unborn.

The repeal of the Mexico City Policy will not only force Americans to support abortion on a global scale; it will also give the rest of the world the impression that the United States actively supports abortion as a form of population control. And in my opinion, this is genocide; the systematic destruction of human life. Most of the countries that will benefit from this order promote and perform abortions specifically for the purpose of population control. And now your tax dollars will provide for the murder of over 50 million unborn children worldwide.

Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council told the Washington Post concerning Obama’s action, “President Obama issued executive orders banning the torture of terrorists but today signed an order that exports the torture of unborn children around the world."

There are three things that belong directly to G-d; Life, Marriage and Israel. President Obama has clearly shown how he feels about life by signing this order. He has also indicated early on how he feels about marriage. And frankly, I’m not certain that he is a friend of Israel. Only time will tell. But, will there be enough time to tell?

"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendents” – Deuteronomy 30:19 (NASB).

Clearly, it is critical that every believer in Yeshua (Jesus) pray for G-d’s continued mercy upon this nation and upon our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-4). And it is more important than ever to pray for our President and those in leadership who are in direct opposition to the will of G-d and His Word. And it is my personal prayer that the Body of Messiah stand up and speak for those who are not able to speak for themselves; namely, the unborn (Proverbs 31:8-9). Shalom.

Inaugural Prayer: White Embrace Right?

My only comment on this: I can't even begin to imagine what would've happened if this prayer were done by a white minister.

Right to Life: Undeniable

Senator Inhofe speaks concerning the Right to Life. Please listen to these very important words concerning the right to life of the unborn.

I pray that more leaders of this nation have the courage to speak out against abortion in support of the unborn.

Thank you President Bush for keeping this nation safe and for being a friend of Israel. May the L-RD bless you and keep you.

Inclusive Inaugural Prayer

Like many I was compelled to watch the inauguration of the 44th Presdient of the United States "Barack Hussein Obama." And like many I was amazed at the celebrity-type reception that was given to Obama. I was also very disappointed at the immature display of behavior towards out-going President George Bush by Obamanites. However, all that seemed to be expected considering all that took place during the primaries and the campaign of Obama.

What I was most disappointed in was the man-pleasing prayer offered up by so-called evangelical leader, Pastor Rick Warren. Now, I do not have anything against this man. Nor, am I against praying for Obama and his family. What concerned me most was the all-inclusive prayer he gave. I am not opposed to praying for those of different faiths, I pray daily that they would come to know Messiah. However, the Messiah that Pastor Warren prayed to may have been a different Messiah; one, who regardless of belief is Lord of.

Athough Messiah Yeshua is L-rd of all; He is not everyone's L-rd:

"Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of G-d says, "Yeshua is accursed"; and no one can say, "Yeshua is L-rd," except by the Holy Spirit" - 1 Corinthians 12:3

Pastor Warren closed his prayer with the following words:
"I humbly ask this in the name of the one who changed my life, Yeshua, Isa, Jesus (Spanish), Jesus, who taught us to pray"

Now, although I am glad that Pastor Warren called Jesus by His Hebrew Name Yeshua, I believe that Warren was trying to appease the Jewish audience, rather than honor our L-RD Yeshua. Although Yeshua is the Hebrew Name of Messiah, and Messiah is Jewish, most Jews don't accept Yeshua as the Messiah. Instead, He is merely a prophet, a good teacher or a moral man. To most Jews, (except Messianic Jews) He is not the L-rd of all.

What I was most concerned about was his desire to please the Muslims in the audience by calling Jesus "Isa." This name is not the name of the same Jesus that I believe in; Isa is not the Jesus of the Bible for the Messianic Jew and the Christian. Isa is the Jesus of the Koran, who will one day return with Allah (not G-d), as a his servant and convert the world to Islam.

"Thereupon she pointed to him. They said, 'How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?' Isa said, 'I am a servant of ALLAH" - Surah 19:30

In his prayer Pastor Warren also refers to G-d as the "merciful and compassionate one." Again, Pastor Warren decides to call upon the god of Koran, who is called the merciful and compassionate, a title given to Allah.

What Pastor Warren did (in my mind) was give credence to Islam and to their mission; that one day, even those who call themselves Christians and Jews will be converted to Islam. And all will serve Allah.

I can't believe that Pastor Warren was this ignorant in using this name of Jesus, except that he called Jesus Isa simply to please the masses.

This nation is in for some interesting times; and believers should take great care to pray for each other's well-being and safety during the times to come. Yes, change is on the horizon, and it is not going to be good...,

"For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of G-d? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Messiah" - Galatians 1:10
