VaYera: And He Appeared - Genesis 18

Who was it that appeared before Abraham and Sarah. The rabbis will say that it was three angels; and many Jews believe that it is so. Yet, in Genesis 18:1 it says; "Now (A)the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, while he was sitting at the tent door in the heat of the day." Abraham ran unto these three men, yet bowed before One and called Him L-RD; When he lifted up his eyes and looked, behold, three (C)men were standing opposite him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth,and said, "My Lord, if now I have found favor in Your sight, please do not pass Your servant by.

Yeshua said, "Before Abraham was born I AM" - John 8:58.

This One whom Abraham bowed before and offered worship unto was in fact the pre-incarnate Messiah Yeshua.

Many will say that G-d cannot become a man; yet He did..., He appeared before Abraham, He appeared before the Prophets, and He appeared alive three days later after He was buried in the grave. Yeshua is Risen! Amein!
